Debra Jarvis, cancer survivor, hospital oncology chaplain, acclaimed presenter and author of “It’s Not About the Hair,” will be the keynote speaker at the second annual Pierce County Survivors' Conference on Tuesday, March 16, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Tacoma.
This event, sponsored by more than 20 local community organizations and cancer care advocates, is free and open to all people affected by cancer as patients, family members and caregivers. The conference provides a unique opportunity for our local community of survivors to connect in a day-long series of seminars and workshops that explore the physical, mental and the spiritual aspects of cancer survivorship. This event will be held at the University of Puget Sound, 1500 N. Warner in Tacoma.
