Scheduling Patients

We try to accommodate your service needs by giving you easy ways to schedule. There are a few of ways to schedule patients at Diagnostic Imaging Northwest:

  • You can call at 253-841-4353 to find a good day and time
  • You can have the patient call 253-841-4353 for a good appointment day or time
  • You can send your requests electronically via EPIC or Clarity.

OR

Request an Appointment online:

I Am A Patient >  I Am A Physician >

To streamline the patient’s registration process and minimize your staff’s time, it is important to take the following steps before scheduling an appointment:

Step 1: Find out if the patient’s policy or plan requires a preauthorization or referral. Have the patient contact their insurance company and find out what needs to be done to obtain one.

Step 2: Have the patient come to their appointment at Diagnostic Imaging Northwest with their insurance card, name and address of their plan or insurer(s), name and address of the claims payer (if different from insurer), ID and group numbers, and the name of the policyholder or subscriber. If applicable, for workers’ compensation, automobile, or personal injury cases, we require the name and address of the attorney as well.

If you have questions about insurance:
Diagnostic Imaging Northwest is an approved provider for most major insurance carriers and health plans. We will submit your claim, and any secondary claims, to any insurance company under the benefit coverage you specify, including workers’ compensation, auto insurance, and personal injury. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for payment of the account, including any balance not covered by insurance. We will send a balance statement for any amount owed after insurance directly to the patient.
